We greatly appreciate feedback as it helps us to develop and improve our burner designs. We also love to publish letters and e-mails from happy customers so please feel free to send yours to us for inclusion on this page!
19 June 2010 Thanks Philip & Peter - I appreciate 'your' modifications and the very neat job you did today..., and for sure it's definitely not a DIY project IMV.
I've already changed the timer to '7 day mode' and would recommend that you give this additional flexibility as standard to future clients rather than the 'day mode' - admittedly it's a simple job taking the the unit off the back plate and configuring the dips, but some people will no doubt be put off or lose the manual. Having such a good timer is a 'selling point' and you should make more of it.
I will get back in touch should I find the simmering plate requires additional insulation...., but I'm happy with the top oven for sure (it cooked a nice pizza).
I checked out the agacentral forum you mentioned and I'm already thinking about doing a posting - in passing I will promote your fitting service, but I will also give some feedback as to my experience with the snugburner.
I hope that the sales go from strength to strength - it's a great product and your accumulated knowledge in fitting it is worth the premium for sure.
Thanks again, James
14 June 2010 (Rayburn OF7) About a year ago I asked you a lot of dumb q's re snugburner. Well, it was all too hard and expensive, but finally around 6 mths ago we did it, and it's far better than expected. The main problem for me was the anticipated 'boiler' noise. Well, it's not a problem. The performance has improved beyond measure, and even if there were no oil savings, the convenience alone would be worth it. I actually took apart the tank sight gauge after the conversion, as I thought it was blocked, because the oil level in the tank didn't appear to drop. Are you trying to put the oil companies out of business? Your local agent, A&S Plumbing, deserves a mention, Simon is a credit to you, and can only bring you more business. If you need a reference in the North Norfolk area, please feel free to use us. It would be a pleasure. Best wishes

31 May 2010 I would like to give you a feed back. On Thursday 27th May I had the pleasure of having a Bolt On Snugburner fitted to my 1950's Aga by Philip & Peter of Philter Ltd. I am delighted with the finished work and the performance of the Burner. No more carbon and having to service it every week and I'm not joking due to this terrible oil we are now having to pay a lot for. Finally through your e-mail address I would like to thank Philip & Peter for their very competent way they carried out the fitting of this. They left my kitchen clean and explained everything about the new burner system. Finally if you ever have an inquiry into anyone who wishes to see one up and running I would be very happy to show them mine and how a great new invention works so well. Thanks Mrs.W.B.
14th March 2010 Barry, Peter fitted a new snug in my old Aga OC Oil Cooker. First class, just thought I would let you know the fuel burn results(by the way I am a retired Engineer). Running the cooker 24 hours per day it is using 31.9 litres per 7 days which is exactly as per your brochure. It was using 58 litres per week with old Dom burner that is Some saving. I am delighted and it has also solved the problem of sooting which has occurred with the change of Kerosene. You have a winner with your product and given me peace of mind and I will get my money back. Well done and your man in N Ireland is a great fellow. Regards H.B., Northern Ireland
